A channel that features Railways of all sizes and gauges. I cover main line standard gauge all the way down to N & T scales. I have been concentrating recently on videoing layouts at Model Railway Shows. Frustrated at the lack if information available to viewers I am adding a commentary to describe a layout, tell you how it is constructed, controlled and operated.

What's with the subtitles on some of the videos
Thank you for your question. I hope I can enlighten you on the way I have changed my presentation of video. 1. I convert the text of a show guide to audio(using an AI tool) so that people who can't attend a show can get the layout information that was in the guide. 2. I am now presenting each layout in a short form. Which is what you watched. 3. For those people who watch the video on a phone they often have the sound turned off so that they don't disturb the people around them. I have added the sound as subtitles to give them the guide information. 4. RUclips and Instagram recommend that video in a short form has subtitles and they rank the content higher. 5. I am targeting a different audience to the ones I have serviced in the past. For the last five years I have assumed that most people will watch on a desktop or tablet. The mobile audience is much bigger, as I have found in the last two shows I have covered. I have quadrupled my views by going to a short format. Typical traditional view counts were 6K for the two shows (Perth & Cupar). I have just passed 24K views for the same shows this year. 6. I intend to expand my short form format into Instagram and Facebook to increase my reach. Sorry for the long winded explanation but I hope it has helped you understand why I subtitle my content. It’s a ‘Westie’ dog motif, not a ‘Scottie’. Westies are white and Scotties black. Completely different breeds. Great vid btw!
What size vehicles suit N guage? Dinky , Corgi or Matchbox?
Hi David I'm sorry I can't help on that. I suggest you search on the Oxford range of vehicles who make them for different scales.
I may have seen this layout at railex fairly recently, was it there or am I mistaken?
I'm not sure if the layout was at railex. Sorry I can't help.

G'day. I have just happened to come across this by chance and it's great. I'm trying to build my own N gauge railway here in Australia and to get hold of N gauge bits and pieces is a nightmare. I couldn't help but be in awe of the semi trailers that you have in a couple of the layouts. They are something that I have been searching for, for some time now and keep coming up with next to nothing. Plenty in HO but not N gauge. Do you think I would be asking too much if I enquired from where you got them from please? I hope mine turns out 1/2 as good as these. Many thanks.

this isnt model trains..... i could buy a hornby set and some how set it up in my house but it would be far more convient if i could build a track on a pc game virtually.

Nice video... but need to get rid of the AI voice over
Hi James, thanks for the comment. The AI voice stays. I have a chronic lung disease which makes my voice overs challenging. My channel is built around commentaries on my layout videos which I don't want to drop. So as an alternative I'm supplying information via an AI voice. If you don't like it I suggest you watch other channels DCC125 as an example.

Hello, talked to you briefly at the Falkirk show today. Really like your videos. However, I'd prefer if you'd go back to using your own voice. You have a nice presenting style which i think works with the visuals. However, even with the AI lady, the videos are still enjoyable.
A different AI voice this time a male! Hope you are still enjoying the videos. Andrew
Those artics would never get in those bays in real life. Too tight and unless all the trucks are left hand drive they would be attempting the reverse in their blind side.
